JESUS IS... Sermon Series
As Christians our view and understanding of who Jesus is impacts every arena of our lives. Paul’s letter to the Church at Colossae was penned to provide believers with a solid understanding of who Jesus is countering the teachings of Jewish legalism, Gnostic mysticism and religious asceticism that were questioning and attacking the deity of Jesus. The message of Colossians is, Jesus is supreme and sufficient.

Water baptism is a public proclamation of what Jesus has done for us. Immersion under water is symbolic of Jesus’ death and burial, and being raised out of the water is symbolic of His resurrection, which represents new life in Jesus. This Sunday we will celebrate new life in Jesus through baptism for a few of our faith community members.
